María José Lagunas Rojo is a freshman at Stanford OHS, an opportunity she is extremely grateful for. Having always enjoyed writing, she has great ambitions for her future career as an author, though she also has many other passions, such as math, space studies, and of course, literature. Through a single voice, change can be done, and she wishes to use hers to speak up for those who can´t or won´t. María thinks journalism is the key factor to change, as it is a method to let our voices be heard and to impulse action. Her ultimate goal is to help at least one person in her life, in any way she can.
