Yanai Wang, Staff Writer
Yanai is a perfervid writer and story collector. She loves café-hopping, people-watching, bookstore-haunting, MUNs, coffee consumption, music consumption, book consumption (Kant, Hawthorne, Atwood, Orwell, Camus, Nabokov, DeLillo, Márquez, and Fitzgerald are indispensable residents of her shelf), tennis, sunrises, essay and speech tournaments, writing argumentative papers and straggly poems, late night conversations, and perhaps most importantly, collecting new stories. As one of the first E-schoolers in Chongqing, a scintillating and boisterous city located in the southwest of China, Yanai hopes to deliver fresh insights, joy, and value to Observers, and- as the magazine title aptly encapsulates- observe this world through its effulgent salad of stories.
