Mattia Worster, Staff Writer
Mattia Worster is a full-time sophomore in his second year at Stanford Online High School. He brings his international experience from his life in the Netherlands to the Observer. An enthusiastic student and friend, you can often find Mattia playing tennis or socializing on Skype and during events, in addition to working on a variety of unique hobbies, which currently include writing song parodies. He is especially passionate about reading – from comical sci-fi like The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy to infographics and historical atlases. He also enjoys writing his own stories, and his current project is a Star Wars fan fiction in the style of a short novel. Some of his academic interests include law and politics, philosophy, social sciences, various STEM topics (e.g., biology, calculus), and, of course, journalism. Mattia is so excited to be part of the Observer!
