Jolene Zjou, Staff Writer
Jolene is a full-time freshman at Stanford OHS, and this is her second year at the school. Her favorite subjects are science and English. She is especially interested in biology and chemistry, and enjoys writing poetry and nonfiction. Beyond academics, she is an archer and a first soprano opera singer with a love for mystery novels. During her time writing at the Observer, she hopes to write behind-the-scenes pieces that reveal how things work and why they matter.
