Maya Sarimsakci is a full-time junior in her second year at OHS. She is quite fascinated by biology, English, world languages, and history. Maya hopes to evoke the same passion she has for learning in the international children she tutors in her home city of Istanbul. She deeply enjoys playing the guitar and expressing herself through music, recording, and songwriting with friends as well. Maya also loves writing, especially short stories and poetry. In her free time, you might find her carefully tending to her money plant, listening to music, reading a science fiction novel, or walking around her neighborhood.
